10 Habits That Will Improve Your Life To A Better One


Have you ever felt that you are lagging behind the world? If it's a yes. Don't worry, everyone does feel like it at least once in a while. You're not alone in this. 

But have you ever wondered why some people are ahead of the crowd and some people lag behind? The answer is simple, It's a COMPOUND EFFECT. 

Everything that's happening to you is not an overnight thing, it's your past actions that put you at the current situation you're. People who succeed aren't the lucky ones, they are the determined ones. They are determined to change their life. Change is a process and it takes time. 

Over the years, I've observed that the difference in daily habits are those that made the successful ones stand out. Without further ado let's get into the topic.

With a lot of introspection, I found below habits to be effective in changing one’s life to better. These are the ten habits that I think will be most effective to improve your life immediately. Follow some of these if you haven't been doing them.

1. WORKOUT/ EXERCISE:

Nothing can give you the confidence a fit body gives. Start working out daily for at least 30 mins and realize the amazing changes in your body and how you feel. When you start working out, you feel the activeness in your body and it increases your productivity throughout the day.

2. READING BOOKS:

Reading books will have a tremendous impact on your life. Successful people read daily because they know the importance of learning relentlessly. Read at least 1 hour a day on the theme you're interested in. I suggest reading self-improvement books as they help you become a better person.

3. SCHEDULING: 


Scheduling is the most important habit you need to cultivate if you want to improve your life. By scheduling, You know what you want to do at a particular time and this will help you to reduce your laziness. When I say schedule, don't just schedule for productive things only, make exact timings for your fun, playing games and chilling too. I recommend using Google Calendar to schedule your day. Planning your day ahead will give you a sense of purpose for your day and you’ll get to know what to do with your time instead of lying on the cozy bed watching drowsy Netflix chills and wasting valuable time.




4. PRIORITIZING :

Tantamount to scheduling, prioritizing is also very crucial to make your day productive. As the saying goes, " Pluck the fruit that's grown big" - Do the important task first and schedule the smaller ones later. Accomplishing a bigger task at first will give you a sense of great achievement and the motivation to do smaller ones faster.




5. LEARNING SOMETHING NEW:

As we are focussing on improving our life, this habit is of surmounted importance. What I mean here is to learn something that you’re passionate about or something you always wanted to do but never found time. Use your time to hustle for your future plans. Hustling outside the 9-5 is what makes the difference. If you're passionate about a skill like investing in the stock market, join any online course or at least read about it online and improve your knowledge. Who knows, maybe this side hustle will one day make you a millionaire.





6. SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY:

Whatever you do the whole day, never forget to talk to your family and spend time with them. It’ll keep your relationships healthy and make you feel loved and happy. At the end of the day, the family is what that holds your back whether you're successful or not.



7. BEING KIND:

Be kind to people i.e., your colleagues, friends, waiters, family everyone even to animals. Kindness and empathy towards others are very important to be happy. The kind of positivity and goodwill being kind gives you is life-changing. 



8. MEDITATING:

Mental composure is very much needed in this 21st century. Learn to control your thoughts and emotions and understand them. Introspect and analyze your thoughts and act accordingly to improve your mental state. Your mental wellbeing is as important as physical health. Take care of it.



9. EATING HEALTHY:

Avoid consuming fast food too much. As important as working out, a good diet is essential for your body. Eat healthily and stay away from unwanted illness. Healthy foods will make you feel light and keep you merrier all day. 



10. SLEEPING ENOUGH:

Want to improve your life? Get satisfying sleep every night. Sleeplessness can make you feel lazy and unproductive. Sleep at least 7 hours per day and stop being so late at night and wake up early.
